MORGAN SOUTHERN

I have been an avid fan of photography since the age of thirteen.

Images have captivated me and urged me to do something for the world. They took me to Tanzania, India, Afghanistan, New York....

Photos changed me, and in turn make me want to change the world around me.

My photography is a mix of art and photojournalism. I strive to capture moments of beauty in their raw and unfiltered form, and to create a story that may not take the form of words on a page. Through my work, I have dabbled in subjects ranging from architecture to nature, and from landscapes to water droplets, but my favorite moments to capture are those telling the diverse story of humanity.
I strive to take photos that impact people around me, and that invite people into a mindset that helps them place themselves in other's shoes. I strive to capture people's souls in everyday life and to create captivating images that motivate people to make a change for themselves. I believe photography can change the world one client and one shot at a time, and that is my goal.

I am currently training and learning this trade of photography while attending The George Washington University, within the realm of both my studies in Biology and Fine Arts.  I hope to continue my studies and use my photographs to create more in depth and impactful stories.
